Registered Nurse (RN) - Director of Nursing
Silverado is currently seeking a caring and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the clinical care at our Assisted Living community in Plano.
Silverado is a memory-care focused Assisted Living company, providing award-winning Alzheimer’s and dementia care. We are looking for a special Registered Nurse who has a passion for gerontology and working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other memory impairing diseases. The Director of Nursing is a key leadership position for establishing excellence in nursing care in an interactive stimulating environment. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for monitoring quality of nursing care, mentoring and training new nurses, team leading, communication with families and physicians and assessment of residents’ health conditions.
The ideal Director of Nursing candidate experience and background include:
Registered Nurse (RN, BSN, MSN) with current state license
Proven success as a nursing manager/leader with several years of management experience
Experience caring for frail elderly or dementia patients is desirable
